Glover Rocks (Glover Rocks)
The Glover Rocks (-67.76667°N, -68.9°W) are a group of rocks lying northwest of Avian Island, off the south end of Adelaide Island, Antarctica. They were named by the UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee for John F. Glover, 3rd Engineer of RRS John Biscoe (1962–63), the ship assisting the Royal Navy Hydrographic Survey Unit which charted the feature in 1963.

Antarctica is Earth's southernmost and least-populated continent. Situated almost entirely south of the Antarctic Circle and surrounded by the Southern Ocean (also known as the Antarctic Ocean), it contains the geographic South Pole. Native species of animals include mites, nematodes, penguins, seals and tardigrades. Where vegetation occurs, it is mostly in the form of lichen or moss.
