Norway Rocks (Norway Rocks)
Norway Rocks (-76.16667°N, 168.33333°W) is a reef of rocks, the charted position of which is doubtful, reported to extend about 4 nautical miles (7 km) southward from Bernacchi Head, Franklin Island, in the Ross Sea. Discovered in 1841 by Ross. Named by C.E. Borchgrevink, a native of Norway, leader of the British Antarctic Expedition, 1898–1900.

Antarctica is Earth's southernmost and least-populated continent. Situated almost entirely south of the Antarctic Circle and surrounded by the Southern Ocean (also known as the Antarctic Ocean), it contains the geographic South Pole. Native species of animals include mites, nematodes, penguins, seals and tardigrades. Where vegetation occurs, it is mostly in the form of lichen or moss.
