Deveselu (Comuna Deveselu)
Deveselu is a commune in Olt County, Oltenia, Romania. It is composed of two villages, Comanca and Deveselu.
The commune is situated on the Wallachian Plain, about 14 km west of the river Olt. It is located in the south-central part of the county, 10 km from Caracal, and 52 km from the county seat, Slatina.
Deveselu is crossed by national road DN54, which starts in Caracal and goes south to Corabia, a port on the Danube. The Deveselu train station serves the CFR Line 910, which runs from Piatra-Olt to Caracal and Corabia.
