Kontokali (Kontokálion)

Kontokali (Κοντόκαλι) is a village located 4.8 km north of Corfu Town on the gulf of Gouvia. It is named after Cristoforo Condocali, a Venetian statesman who was awarded the estate after his successful participation in the Battle of Lepanto.

Greece (Ελλάδα), officially the Hellenic Republic (Greek: Ελληνική Δημοκρατία), self-identified and historically known as Hellas (Greek: Ελλάς), is a country located in Southern and Southeast Europe, with a population of approximately million as of. The country consists of nine geographic regions: Macedonia, Central Greece, the Peloponnese, Thessaly, Epirus, the Aegean Islands (including the Dodecanese and Cyclades), Thrace, Crete, and the Ionian Islands.
